Canyoneering Cebu is a booking platform that connects travellers with licensed Badian-born canyoneering guides in South Cebu, Philippines. When we use "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Canyoneering Cebu. You can reach us at info@canyoneering-cebu.com.

When you book a tour or contact us, we collect:

• Your name and email address.
• Tour package, preferred date, number of travellers.
• Pickup location or hotel name (optional).
• Any message or special request you send us.
• Your phone number, if you message us on WhatsApp.

We also collect basic technical data automatically — IP address, browser type, pages visited — through Google Analytics. This is anonymised and used to understand which tours people are interested in.

We use your information only to:

• Confirm availability and reply to your booking request.
• Send tour details, pickup time, and what-to-bring info.
• Answer your questions over email or WhatsApp.
• Improve the site (anonymised analytics only).

We do not send marketing emails. We do not add you to any mailing list. After your tour we don't email you again unless you write to us first.

We don't sell or rent your data to anyone. We don't share it with advertisers, marketers, data brokers, or affiliate networks. Full stop.

The only people who see your booking details are the licensed Badian guide team running your specific tour. They need your name, the date, and pickup location to actually show up and run the day. We share the minimum necessary.

We do use a small number of standard service providers to operate this site: an email delivery service (to send you confirmations), a website host, and Google Analytics for aggregate site stats. These services see only what's strictly required for them to function.

We use two types of cookies:

• Essential cookies — used to keep you logged in if you create an account, and to remember basic preferences. These can't be turned off without breaking the site.
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. You can block these in your browser's cookie settings without losing site functionality.

You can ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what data we have about you.
• Correct any data that's wrong.
• Delete your data (subject to legal/tax record-keeping requirements below).
• Stop processing your data for any non-essential purpose.

We keep your booking information for up to 5 years after your tour, which is the standard record-keeping period for tax and accounting purposes in the Philippines. Contact-form messages with no booking attached are deleted after 12 months. Analytics data is retained per Google's default of 26 months and is not tied to your identity.

We're based in Cebu, Philippines. Some of our service providers (notably Google Analytics) are based in the United States and may store data on their servers there. They process this data under their own published privacy policies; we don't access that data directly.

Our tours have a minimum age of 12. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 12. If you're booking on behalf of a child, the booking should be made by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for what's shared.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes (anything that affects how we share or use your data) will be flagged at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
